Changes to Motoring Offences laws come into force - choose your solicitor wisely
The penalties for a variety of Road Traffic Offences including Drink Driving, Driving under the influence of Drugs and Law relating to new drivers are changing in 2017.
This area of law very rarely attracts Legal Aid - notwithstanding the fact that the Law is tricky and the loss of a Driving Licence can be devastating.
If you are facing such offences you need to seriously consider obtaining Legal Advice. There are arguments available for some offences that can be raised such as Special Reasons not to disqualify you or arguing that disqualification would cause exceptional financial hardship. There are also new guidelines affective from the 24th April 2017 regarding the punishment of various motoring offences. To make sure that you receive the most up to date legal advice you need to speak to a Solicitor.
Alongside Mr David Staniforth, Mrs Karen Moxon Smith is now taking instructions in relation to motoring matters.
