Norrie Waite & Slater raise over £2500 for the Will Aid Charity

January 2013

Solicitors at Norrie Waite & Slater Solicitors have raised over £2500 this year for the Will Aid Charity.

Will Aid is a special partnership between the legal profession and nine of the UK's best-loved charities.  Every November, participating solicitors waive their fee for writing a basic Will and therefore donate their professional time towards the scheme. Instead of making a charge, they invite their clients to make a donation to Will Aid.

Each year, thousands of people use the Will Aid scheme. They not only gain peace of mind by writing their Will, they help fund life-changing charity work at the same time.

Having your Will written professionally can give you great peace of mind. Using a local solicitor who has signed up to Will Aid also gives you the added feel-good factor of supporting nine leading UK charities.

Instead of paying your solicitor’s fee, you will be invited to make a donation to charity.

Katy Burgin, head of the Probate department at Norrie Waite & Slater said “The Will aid campaign this year has been a great success. We have been able to raise in excess of £2500 for the Will Aid Charities.  We would like to thank all our clients who participated in the scheme and look forward to taking part in the next campaign.”
