Making a Will is a very sensible thing that everyone should do. However, a Will is only useful if it can be quickly and easily found at the time of your death. For this reason it should be kept in a safe and secure location and the interested parties should be made aware of its location. If someone dies and their Will cannot be found, it is assumed that the Will has been destroyed and their estate would therefore be passed under the Laws of Intestacy, the same procedure as if they had never made a Will in the first place.
