What is Conspiracy?

For Conspiracy to exist, the Prosecution have to prove that an agreement is made between two or more people to carry out a criminal act. It doesn't matter whether the crime is carried out or whether you know other people within the conspiracy.

This cannot be a mere mental operation; it must involve spoken or written words or other overt acts. If the defendant changes their mind and withdraws immediately after the agreement has been concluded, they can still be guilty of the offence.
