Q: Joanne, can you tell us a bit about your role at Norrie Waite & Slater?
Absolutely! I advise clients mostly on sales, purchases, transfers and remortgages, ensuring they receive clear and professional guidance. My job is to simplify the legal process, helping people understand their rights and options so they can make informed decisions. I will also consider more complex or ad hoc matters as and when they arise such as adverse possession so feel free to get in touch if you are unsure of what to do.
Q: What do you enjoy most about your work?
I love working with people. Every client’s situation is unique, and being able to provide reassurance, expert advice, and practical solutions is incredibly rewarding. Seeing a client leave my office feeling confident and supported is the best part of my job.
Q: What’s one piece of advice you’d give to clients?
Don’t wait until the last minute to seek legal advice! Whether you’re buying a house, planning your estate, or facing a legal issue, getting professional guidance early on can save you time, money, and stress in the long run.
