At Norrie Waite and Slater we are passionate about providing talented young people the opportunity to pursue a career in law and we are proud to offer our staff the ongoing development and support that they need to fulfil their goals and potential.

Current apprentice Rianna joined us 3rd January 2023 and is studying a Business Administration Level 3. Rianna’s role as part of her apprenticeship course is to stand in on reception when required, which she has had full training for.  She’s a much appreciated member of the accounts team, in which she opens files on the accounting software and also the banking of cheques and printing of cheques. he helps any other department with administration tasks too.  has come a long way in the last year.

Commenting on her apprenticeship with NWS, Rianna said

"During the past 11 months of my apprenticeship at NW&S I have learnt a lot of valuable skills and built my confidence up in different ways. When I first started everyone was very welcoming and patient when I was getting to know my job role, my department have always pushed me to do the best of my ability when learning something new or something I wasn't familiar with it.

By going to college it has led me to develop my skills and get a better understanding on jobs so that I am able to apply it to the workplace, by this I can add it to my course work, and I can get the training I need for college.

My apprenticeship has really helped me on what career path I'm wanting to take, I am really enjoying being a part of the Norrie Waite and slater team and excited to see what the future holds."
